Expert Running Gait Analysis in Tenafly, NJ

Expert Running Gait Analysis in Tenafly, NJ

At Blue Iron Physio, every visit is one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. We use 3D motion-capture gait analysis and objective strength testing to find the root cause of your running pain — and build a clear plan to get you back on the road, stronger than before.

Still Running Through Pain — Or Not Running?

Runners deserve more than rest, ice, and generic exercises. If your pain keeps coming back, it's not bad luck — it's a root cause that hasn't been found yet.

The Generic PT Trap

Seen by an Aide, Not a Doctor

No Clear Finish Line

You've done the band exercises. You've stretched your calves. But nobody's actually looked at how you run — or why the same injury keeps returning every season.

At most clinics, your evaluation lasts 20 minutes and the rest is supervised by an assistant. You never get real face time with the expert who can actually solve your problem.

You're told to 'take it easy' with no timeline, no milestones, and no objective data. You don't know if you're getting better — and neither does anyone else.

Why Tenafly Runners Choose Blue Iron Physio

Mckenna Dick

"I came to Blue Iron because I am training for a half marathon and I have been experiencing bilateral knee pain, limiting my ability to complete distance runs. I worked with Kat, who was knowledgeable, supportive and professional during my time here. She utilized a 3D run analysis, that allowed us to identify deficits in my form. This lead to us implementing strategies and cues that now have allowed me to run pain free and continue on my journey of completing my half marathon. Kat has also provided me with a plethora of strengthening exercises to assist with reducing pain and improving my muscle imbalances. I would recommend this facility for anyone seeking physical therapy services."

What happens during a running gait analysis near me?

Your Doctor of Physical Therapy performs a full movement and strength screen, followed by a 3D motion-capture run analysis and ForceDecks force plate testing. You leave with a clear diagnosis, objective data, and a written individualized plan.

How long until I can run again?
