Training your balance is very interesting because you will never know if it is truly working. It is impossible to know how may falls you may have prevented due to improving your balance, but consider each year without a fall a big win!

Of all the benefits of balance training, preventing falls in older adults is the most important for improving longevity. When someone falls later in life they are much more susceptible to hip fractures which have a direct correlation with increased mortality and decreased quality of life.


Obviously, training balance as you age is important, but why wait? Start training your balance NOW! It‘s super easy and you can do it almost anywhere. Wash the dishes on one foot. Each commercial break try to balance for the entire length. You’ll never know when it will come in handy.
